We all go through a time in our life when we realize
we are growing up...

We discover...
We face hardship...
We say goodbye...
We gather the strength...
We find that moving on is a very important part of life...
We Are Here.
Follow the lives of seven different teenagers, lending witness to problematic situations that are, unfortunately, quite common. In fact, as we view the adolescent issues, ranging from teen pregnancy to contemplated homicide as well as the tail-to-tail grazing from everyday bullying to domestic abuse, we see a piece of ourselves in each character.
Collectively these characters begin to develop multiple aspects of the human body, mind, and soul, as they become not individuals but a whole. This movie craftily displays the teenage spirit. If they could ever make a sequel to the 1985 classic, “The Breakfast Club” this movie would be the product. What started as a daydream turned into a full length film about eight people that realize they have much more in common than they think.
This film was written and produced by the best of friends: Kevin Christian and Chris Cherin. Directed and filmed by Brandon Shain. We are all connected in this world of ours; conjoined in a special fashion that develops a similarity for every difference. We are all unique. But we are all together. We are here.
